About the Event
*In-person event with face-masks and social distancing. Asking to have one parent attend per family due to limited space.**
- This year's theme is "Developing the Champion Within YOU"
- Event day will include a special lunch, inspirational speakers, interactive activities, a selfie station with a Champion's Lounge, and prizes! An award ceremony for all 2021 Mentees and Mentors will allow all attendees to celebrate with them for their participation this year.
- The event Keynote speaker is Avis Brown-Riley, the first African American in the Junior Golf tournament’s history to win and hold 4 additional trophies for the tournament. A true champion, she continued to win more and more in her junior golf career, placing at the top of the leaderboard over 50 times, and winning 10 out of 16 tournaments before pursuing collegiate golf.
My SIster's Keeper Success Institute endeavors to mentor girls and EMPOWER (Elevate Motivation Powerfully Only Winning Every Race) Her because, with many hardships and obstacles that may come their way, they must understand that their path is what they make of it, limited only by their perspective, passion, drive, and habits.
