Mentoring Programs

STEAM Mentoring Program

STEAM is an educational framework that ties the various disciplines of STEM together with the Arts and brings reality into the classroom, especially through activity-based learning, and hands on experimentation.  STEAM Mentoring Programs are 6-week or 12-week programs aligned with Next Generation Science Standards and offer career introduction and exploration, as well as hands on activity-based learning and project opportunities. STEAM careers are organized into 4 Pathways, Connecting People & Information, Saving the Planet, How Things Work, and Helping People Live Healthy Lives.

Personal Development Program

Personal Development Programs include a summer camp and monthly workshops that include an interactive curriculum to help girls develop the competencies needed to effectively communicate ideas and feelings, develop healthy relationships with self and others, embrace their authentic self, develop mindfulness, growth mindset, and learn strategies for self-care.

Additionally, the annual Empower Her: Mentoring Rising Stars Young Womens' Leadership Conference is held in December and is a time where the participants celebrate successes, develop leadership skills, participate in interactive activities, and hear from inspirational speakers.

Career, Entrepreneurship & Life Skills Program

Career, Entrepreneurship, and Life Skills Programs consist of a series of various workshops and seminars designed to support career & education planning, leadership & life skills, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.
